This 1959 Jaguar XK150 convertible has matching numbers and was owned by the same owner since 1965 until purchased from the estate in 2012. Powered by the famous XK 210 horsepower 6-cylinder engine. The XK model was the last when it was replaced by the E-type commonly known as the XKE. New carpeting - top and interior in great shape. Runs and drives very nice.

Car returns to ebay 2/20/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XK-XK150-SE-Roadster-1959-jaguar-xk-150-se-ots-absolutel ...
Current bid US $30,300 reserve not met 20 bids 9 days left in auction. 63k miles. Car now said to be in Santa Barbara, California.
Sellers description:
Absolutely breathtaking, numbers matching, entirely solid and sorted 1959 Jaguar XK150 SE (Special Equipment) OTS (Open Two Seater) finished in gorgeous Black over a Cream leather interior with a tan soft top. Acquired by the second owner in 1965, it would remain in his care for nearly 47 years before being purchased from his estate in 2012 by the third owner. Believed to have logged a mere 63k miles from new, it was always garaged and well maintained, and consequently the third owner only undertook a sympathetic cosmetic refurbishing and routine mechanical sorting to bring the car to its stunning current condition.
The paint is deep and lustrous, marred only by negligible imperfections too insignificant to appear in any of the pictures or detract from the car's considerable appeal, and the brightwork, rubber and glass are all in excellent condition. Never left to corrode or involved in any accidents, the body is straight and correct, retaining consistent panel fits throughout, and the car's undercarriage is similarly honest and solid. Reupholstered by the third owner, the car's interior is in beautiful condition, the soft leather seats, plush carpets and all interior panels showing only negligible wear. The dash is correct with fully functioning gauges and toggle switches and the soft top is virtually unused. The car sits on chrome wire knock off wheels with stately wide white wall tires with plenty of remaining tread.
Mechanically the car is fantastic, the tried and true, numbers matching 210 hp 3.4L I6 engine (#V3810-8) starting effortlessly, idling consistently and pulling strongly and smoothly through each of the original transmission's gears. The experience from the driver's seat is nothing if not grin-inducing, the SE's dual exhaust emitting the trademark Jaguar roar with fantastic road manners. The car brakes and drives straight and true, and while the XK150 is somewhat more refined than its older siblings, it still retains a truly visceral ride quality. A recent sorting of the cooling system ensures road-going pleasure whether tooling through town, winding through the canyons or bombing down the highway.
Stunning cosmetics, solid and correct body and undercarriage, strong and sound mechanicals, and (most importantly) ALL matching numbers, confirmed by both the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Certificate and the car's original stamps and data plate. This is an entirely pure, correct and honest car, one that needs only a new owner's garage and the same gentle care bestowed upon it by its prior owners to be enjoyed.
