There is at least one indicator the car may have been exported from the UK.

Description:
Sale Rétromobile 2023 - 03 february 2023 /Lot 33
Italian title
Chassis No. S827310DN
- Very high-quality restoration
- Combination of shades of irresistible elegance
- Clever modifications for better driving
This magnificent car comes from an important Italian collection and its condition matches the qualities of the model. Indeed, it has been completely redone by a specialist in this model, based in Austria, and the file that accompanies it, with its invoices and photos, reflects the important work that has been carried out.
It was originally a right-hand drive model. As well as being converted to left-hand drive, this car has benefited from clever modifications made to make it easier to use in modern traffic, such as the installation of a five-speed Getrag gearbox, a radiator, and an aluminum water tank, reinforced spoked rims... The cost of this restoration clearly exceeds the value of the car.
The XK 150 is the ultimate variation of the formula launched by Jaguar in 1948 with the XK 120 which, with its brilliant 6-cylinder and its original and beautifully sporty design, entered the modern era with panache. The XK 150 is the culmination of this family, with a more spacious body, more opulent interiors, better dynamics, and a personality that foreshadows that of the E-Type. In the meantime, Jaguar won several victories at Le Mans with powertrains that underpinned this family of sportsters.
