Reported stolen in October 2009 at www.jag-lovers.org:
Hello. Sorry to mass contact you all, but I wanted to get this
information out as broadly and as quickly as possible. Yesterday morning
at 2.30am (29th October), my XK150 was stolen from my home near
Basingstoke in Hampshire, UK. It was locked in a secure garage, but the
thieves had planned the raid, had cutting gear to break all the locks
and tore the wooden door open to access the car. They also dragged my
XKR that was blocking access (in park and with the hand brake on) over
20ft out of the way dumping it midway across a blind corner of a main
road. This was a well planned and highly dangerous smash and grab.
I wanted to alert all of you that there is a professional gang out there
apparently stealing to order, and to ask you all to keep a look out for
the car as it has disappeared. The main numbers of the cars are in the
subject, but to list the details here they are:
Model: XK150 DHC, RHD, 3.4 litre, manual, SE (it has Special Equipment,
but is not an 'S')
Registration: VLO 702 (since new)
Colour: Old English White with black soft top and red interior including
the Reutter seats (an original optional extra, so are very rare).
(Originally Inidgo with Grey trim)
Engine: V 4386-8
Body P 6625
Manufactured: 12th June 1958.
Chrome wire wheels
Distinguishing features: The Red Reutter seats; a flasher stalk centre
top dashboard where most heater switches are, indigo painted B piller
tops (part of the fold-down roof), and a chrome luggage rack on the
boot. XK Club badge on windscreen. Driver side wing has a wing mirror.
Period radio under the centre of the dashboard. Retracable chrome aerial
on the RHS wing.
Please do get in touch with me on this email address if the car or any
of its parts are spotted.
Many thanks, Ewan Pearson

The car was spotted (either physically or on a website) on or just before 18th May 2018 as someone has tried to sell it privately. As soon as it transpired that the car is stolen, the potential buyer pulled out and the seller seems to have gone to ground. The insurance company (RSA) that now 'own' the car has closed its case following a brief period of enquiry. If anyone out there spots the car either in person or on a website, please get in touch. the car is like a family member to us and we really want it back.
