According to information supplied by the vendor, this magnificent XK150 is believed to have spent eleven years undergoing a "full ground up body off restoration to the highest standard". Said to have covered just "700 dry miles" since work was completed last year, it still boasts an "underside like brand new". Registered new in Bristol (or so its 'HU' registration number suffix would suggest), the Jaguar is fitted with both the sweet-revving 3442cc DOHC straight-six powerplant and desirable 'manual with overdrive' four-speed transmission. Finished in dark blue with contrasting red leather upholstery, its stunning appearance is highlighted by chrome wire wheels and twin spotlights. Further benefiting from a well detailed engine bay, wood-rimmed steering wheel, carpeted boot, hood bag and chrome luggage rack, this 'drophead gorgeous' XK150 looks every inch the classic 1950s British Sports Car.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
