Car purchased on 17th September 2008 from Henry Restell as a running restoration. We decided that the car was in need of an off the road restoration and this is currently underway. When purchased the car was registered as 612 XUJ, I have sinced purchased the correct original registration of 9494 BP, which now gives the car her complete as built series of numbers.

The body is now in the paint shop. The chassis is completed and the chassis rebuild has begun, engine rebuilt and ready to go, I think that we should be up and running by April 2010. A long wait but well worth it.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
