    Ebay item 6/30/10
    cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK-150-FHC-SE-1958-Jaguar-XK-150-FHC-SE-3-8L-4-sp ...
Current bid $20,000 reserve not met, 6 bids 7 days left in auction. 69k miles.

    Sellers description:
An absolutely stunning Jaguar in its Gleaming, Carmen Red paint, NEW 72 spoke chrome MWS wire wheels from England, re-chromed bumpers & MICHELIN X tires w/ LOW Actual mileage. Current owner of 20 years had it professionally resprayed about 8 years ago & looks like it was done yesterday. Original automatic were upgraded over 20 years ago for a 4 speed. It’s RHD & you get the hang of it in a few hours; after all it’s a true British sports car! Think how close you can get to those annoying joggers & bicyclists & your own mailbox!

S prefix in Chassis # S824544BW indicates a Special Equipment Model, Most 150’s were other than base models being either SE or S variations. SE included standard wire wheels, two fog lights, (not present & easily procured) overdrive (if originally a manual) and twin exhaust system & engine mods on 3.4L.

Just out of a complete service & an extensive going over by a Bucks County, PA British mechanic renowned in the area & the “Go to” Chap for anything British from MG’s to Rolls Royces.

    Restoration/Service performed:
Ø Re-Spray over solid, original panels w/ good fit. Everything off & painted inside boot, bonnet, door jambs etc.
    Ø Bumpers F & R re-chromed
Ø New MWS 72 spoke chrome Wire Wheels w/ Jaguar spinners
    Ø New MICHELINS w/ tubes!
    Ø Radiator re-cored
Ø Rewired w/ New Wiring Harness
Ø New Brakes (4 wheel discs)
    Ø New Fuel Pump
    Ø New Regualtor
    Ø New Generator
    Ø New Master Cylinder
    Ø New Battery
    Ø New Water Pump

    Comes with:
Ø Spare & Jack, tools minus hammer
    Ø Custom Car Cover
    Ø Manuals & Handbook

    Condition:
Exterior, presentation-wise a #2 car, judging the show quality paint, chrome/trim & wheels. Left headlamp reflector is flaking.

Engine is clean & will show beautifully w/ polishing.

Undercarriage is clean, but not detailed & very solid. There are no leaks or drips, just the usual seepage & accumulation 62 years of oil changes & lubrication & maintenance leaves behind.

Interior is original w/ a bit more wear on driver’s seat, only the way time & good care produces that wonderful look. Both door panels show staining at bottom, otherwise good. Carpeting is good, w/ minimal wear. Dash & instrumentation are very good, all gauges working. Rear seats are good w/ heavy scratches on left back. Glass is good & all weather-stripping is newer.

Mechanically, this Jag is tuned & needs nothing. It starts, runs & stops beautifully, all w/ a fantastic exhaust note.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
