1957 Jaguar XK 140 drop head coupe with a 210 B.H.P. engine with a Automatic transmission. It is the special Equipment model. 'C' type Cylinder Head,High speed Crankshaft Damper and Dual Exhaust System,Wire Wheels with Knock -on Hubs Twin fog lamps and Windscreen Washing Equipment, which is missing the glass jar and pressure unit. This is all the Factory options. Engine number: G 8381-8S, Body number: P5142 Carmen red body with black interior. The Jaguar was originality sold to Mr A Symmono of San Franciso in May of 1957. My friend purchased the Jaguar in Nov. 1974. It was his daily driver until the arrival of His next Jag an XL 150 in 1977.The XK 140 has been in the garage ever since. The Jag shows signs of old body and a repaint. The interior is all there and the seat slide on the trcks. The engine did have a valve job before He purchased the Jag.He did the brakes and Tires in 1976. He hit a curb and bent the rim it is now the spare. the axel was checked and it 's fine. The Jaguar does have the jack and ratchet handle the original operating , maintenance, and service handbooks. It is missing the tool roll and grease gun. The convertible top frame is in good working shape and has all the trim. The dash is all origianal with knobs and gauges. Excellent Jag for restoration.

The person who bought this car a few months ago will be tempted to sale to me? I was involved in buying it but for reasons I am not aware I was unable to finish he deal. I did a lot of research and prepare all the documentation to restore it.

Current bid US $27,400, no reserve, 50 bids 5 days left in auction. Note this is a suspicious auction now said to be in Basalt, Colorado. Photos and description are from the '06 auction and the VIN given for this auction is S818709BW which is obviously incorrect.
