The car was purchased by me through my company Classic Motor Action / Belgium on June 26, 1988 in California from Clarence Rollins of Vista - California. It was in excellent condition and the chassis and all mechanical components had been restored. It still needed paint and interior and top. The intention of the restorer was to paint the car red, as the engine compartment was already repainted red. I imported the car in Belgium on July 20, 1988 and kept it for a while as I was palying with the idea of completing the restoration. i finally sold it to a Dutch customer.
