Ebay item 11/4/21
www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144274756253
Classified ad price:
£55,000, seller sportsclassicsuk,

Seller's description:
After a long while we managed to persuade the owner to part with his XK140SE (MC) Drop Head Coupe. This is a car for restoration or recomission to use as is. It is not running but the engine turns by hand. The SE model benefits from the "C" type head, normally painted red as you can see in the picture. This takes the power to around 210 BHP from 180 BHP. This is a very desirable model and can qualify for various vintage and classic events.
The pictures show how it sat for many year and also after a quick was. The car is very solid and clearly complete. It is a matching numbers car, originally produced according to Jaguar Heritage in 1955 with original colours of Pearl Grey with a red interior. Its now time for this car to find a new owner after 45 years. The car is already in transit and will arrive in the UK around the 11th of November.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
