JUST OUT OF LONG TIME STORAGE (37 YEARS) IS THIS JAGUAR XK140 DROPHEAD COUPE. ONLY 2740 WERE BUILT. OF THAT NUMBER THERE WERE A LIMITED SECLECTION WITH THE OPTIONAL SPECIAL EQUIPMENT PACKAGE, WHICH THIS IS ONE. THE OPTION INCLUDED THE "C" TYPE (RED HEAD) LeMANS CYLINDER HEAD, DUEL EXHAUST, WIRE WHEELS AND LUCAS DRIVING LIGHTS. TO ADD TO THE RARITY THIS MATCHING NUMBER XK140 ALSO INCLUDED THE OPTIONAL FACTORY OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION. MOST OF A NEW RED LEATHER INTERIOR IS ALSO INCLUDED.
