Sellers description:
1955 Jaguar XK140 Drop Head Coupe with black California license plates, arrow-straight and rust-free original body and frame, 100% factory metal. Never a rust issue anywhere on this car. Stored since the early 1970's and not driven (note registration tags). Body was recently dismantled and taken to metal, coated with epoxy primer, prepped and hand-blocked. New base-clear original Ivory paint was then applied, polished to a mirror finish, and then body was reassembled. The entire undercarriage was dry-ice blasted, coated with epoxy primer, then prepped and painted (the finest available 30-year rust protection). Engine runs well, but all other systems need to checked and wiring needs to be completed. Interior is original blue. This car was owned by a Silicon Valley engineer who bought the car in the 1970's and always planned to finish the restoration, but whose wife had different ideas. Thus, they sold the car to us after storing it for 35 years.
