Seller's description:

1956 Jaguar XK140

So the whole story.

It was my father in laws car, whole running c type automatic 1956 xk140 fhc.

He blew the motor and gave it away 40 years ago.

He put in an Oldsmobile 350, ran it, parked it and was going to restore everything else and started tearing it apart.

Dragged the car from NY, to Arizona to Missouri and never did anything with it.

He passed away, I inherited it, hired someone to rebuild it, they took every nut and bolt off, then decided to quadruple their price.

I had it stored at a relatives house in Missouri for a few years, while I moved and tried to accumulate part.

The original body wasn't great, so I bought a second body, and other body parts hoping to one day put it all back together.

About a year ago, I went to Missouri and dragged all the pieces and parts to Arizona.

I have a 50s Era jag 3.4l and a couple of transmissions.

Non original.

2 complete bodies, and 2 brake systems, 1 original drum and 1 aftermarket disk front and rear.

All suspension parts, some original, a lot brand new.

Interior is aftermarket and used.

Some wood remains, mostly not. All windows and rear bumper are here, no front.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
