This is a 1955 Jaguar XK140 SE FHC (Fixed Head Coupe) that has been completely restored and that has 74,651 miles on the odometer; as can be seen in the photos, she has been driven sparingly since completion. The car is finished in a rich Charcoal Grey Metallic with a very nice and complementary Black leather interior (some wear on drivers seat bolster); her spoked wheels are painted Silver Gray with chrome knockoffs making the whole exterior look elegant and beautiful. Overall, this is a lovely car that runs and drives exceptionally well.
This 1955 Jaguar XK140 SE (MC in the USA) has the original drive train (numbers matching) 3.4 liter six cylinder engine - "C" Head Type ."Special Equipment" Model - coupled to the original 4 speed gearbox with overdrive. This car is also equipped with wire wheels painted Silver Gray. This is a wonderful return to the 1950's when British sports cars were the envy of the world. This specific example is in outstanding condition and could be driven everyday if desired and if in the right climate. The engine has plenty of power and has great oil pressure, the gear box is smooth and overall, it is just a joy to drive.
Additional notes: we have her Heritage Certificate and we have the original jack and grease gun but not the wheel mallet or tool kit.
