    Sellers description:
1956 Jaguar XK140 3.4L SE Roadster. Chassis Number - S812006DN Engine Number - G6665-8S. This beautiful matching numbers OTS benefits from a very nice older restoration and is still suited for various shows or to use in tours and rallies around the world. It has every desirable option from the factory in including C-type cylinder heads and factory overdrive. On top of that it is a Special Equipment model also known as the MC Roadster. It is offered with the Heritage Certificate, books and tools. It has been in the same ownership in Texas for almost 15 years and has always been stored in climate controlled storage. The original color was Pacific Blue with red interior and blue top. Overall this is a fantastic opportunity to acquire one of the most highly desired Jaguars of the 1950's and it certainly represents tremendous value in today's market. For only $107,500.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
