Seller's description:
This XK140 OTS comes from longstanding ownership and has been regularly driven at rallies at home and abroad. It is a very reliable vehicle and has always been well maintained, we are currently performing a thorough service.
This XK140 OTS, S811606, is a special equipment model, designated SE on the European market and MC in the USA. This package primarily contains a so-called C-Type cylinder head with enlarged valves and improved intake ports. In contrast to the Jaguar XK120 C "C-Type" itself, the camshaft cover is provided with the "C-Type" logo. The vehicle was produced in today's body color black, interior red and folding roof black, which is evidenced by the "Production Record Trace Certificate".
First delivery was made to the importer Max Hoffmann in the USA and in this way came into the possession of Phyllis J. Hamil, Austin, Texas (until 1979) and was held by Dennis E. Dobson, Austin, Texas until 1992. It was introduced to Switzerland via Germany on April 1, 1992 by René Müller, a long-time member of JDCS and specialist in vintage car issues.
The vehicle was already in good condition when it was imported into Switzerland and has been partially restored by the owner over the years, paying particular attention to its originality. With the addition of missing parts, it was always improved and kept in good shape.
The car was used regularly by the current owner on old-timer trips at home and abroad. It's a very reliable vehicle, has always been well maintained and has just received thorough service from us.
We sell this classic by order, from MFK with Veteran, Fr. 150,000 .--
