This early, ex-USA XK140MC Roadster has the Special Equipment package and C-Type cylinder head. Finished in red with black leather interior, the car features wire wheels shod with Avon tyres, black vinyl hood and the twin exhaust system associated with the C-Type ‘head. Previous forming part a famous private collection, the car has taken part in numerous historic events (including two Rallyes des Alpes) and is fitted with a special radiator and additional (electric) cooling fan. The engine was overhauled in March 2001 (circa SFr 10,000 spent) and the cosmetics received attention in 1991 (circa SFr 18,000 spent). A substantial file of invoices is included in the sale.
The car is Swiss registered and has passed its roadworthiness test.
