Above seller's description:

Jaguar XK140 OTS, 1954, chassis n. 810464, engine n. G 1745-8, Italian registration and ASI golden plate.

Very nice example of XK140, it's a car in genuine even if not pristine standing, as it has been fully restored almost twenty years ago. Firstly delivered on the U.S. market, the car is in original condition, matching number as per JHT 61102 certificate and it was manufactured in only 617 examples of the first batch of production of this model in 1954. Interesting British racing green livery with a marvelous dark cocoa leather interior, chrome wire wheels and a sporty Motolita wooden steering wheel, the car is very usable, easy to drive and MM eligible.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
