Finally made the deal after trying to buy the car for a couple years. The is an honest driver and I intend to make a few upgrades to make it better for longer trips and high road speeds with less stress. First few things I plan are;
Aluminum radiator
Front disc brakes
Dual master cylinder
Tremec 5-speed transmission

I have started and completed several items on my CK140MC. The Tremec 5 speed with .73 for 5th gear is installed along with new drive shaft. I have also finished the front disc brake conversion along with new ball joints while the front spindles were apart. The new aluminum radiator is installed along with the new puller electric fan in place of the mechanical fan and shroud. Also, completed is a Petronix distributor and new wires.

I am waiting on some exhaust parts before finishing that so I can get the timing set. While I had the interior out for the Tremec install I have put down heat/sound deadening but still have to finish the interior reinstall.

I will try to add some pictures shortly.

More work done before my rotator cuff surgery. I installed the new Stainless exhaust including headers I am also going to make new down pipes out of 304 stainless so I can also use the original cast iron manifolds mated to the stainless exhaust system. I noticed that the stainless headers are very close to the generator so if a problem should arise I will go back to the manifolds. Next will be the master cylinder conversion.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
