According to an article in the JOC newsletter this is the first known RHD XK140 known to exist. Though now in Switzerland it was originally shipped to Australia. Apparently not true. As Urs, states car obviously came to the USA first.

The interior as per JDHT and as it is now is Dark Blue piped with Light Blue. I bought the car from the second owner Hunter Harris in Costa Mesa Ca. on oct. 4th 1982. The first owners name and adress was Mr. M.H. McCallum, 278 ChurchStreet,
San Francisco Ca. later his wife Wilma Jean McCallum, 2428 Wulff Lane, Sacramento Ca.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
