This 1955 JAGUAR XK140 RHD factory C Type head won’t ever come up for sale again. It’s a real two owner car which started its life in South Africa with the same owner who purchased it brand new, in 1995 he then brought it to British Columbia. Since then, the vehicle has stayed there and remained all original, untouched like the day it left the factory. It’s a totally stock, Right Hand Drive XK140 with the C Type (or MC in USA) head which produces more horsepower from the factory. Not a spec of rust, it’s a real gem. It’s probably the only one in the world like this. Contact me anytime if your are interested in getting more information. I’ve got a video from the previous owner who had it for its whole life. Im the real second owner and it’s never been in any accidents. It’s a stock car that you’re never going to find again. This is the most gorgeous, all original British racing green with a tan interior from the factory xk140!
Price in USD $64,000

This 1956 Jaguar XK140 MC fixed head coupe is a right-hand-drive example that was reportedly sold new in South Africa and brought to Canada after being acquired by the seller’s family in 1979. It is equipped with a 3.4-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission and is finished in green over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes a C-Type cylinder head, dual SU carburetors, four-wheel drum brakes, 16″ wire-spoke wheels, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The car is no longer in running condition and requires servicing. This XK140 is now offered at no reserve by the seller on behalf of their spouse in Ontario with Manitoba registration.
The car is finished in green and features chrome bumpers and overriders, driving lights, side air intake vents, a split windshield, a locking fuel filler door, and dual exhaust outlets. The paint is faded and worn and pitting is present in the chrome.
Silver-finished 16″ wire-spoke wheels are secured with two-eared knockoff spinners and are mounted with older Dunlop tires that should be replaced due to age. A matching spare is stowed beneath the trunk floor. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums. The seller states that the front and rear brakes require service.
The right-hand-drive cabin features individual front seats and rear seat pads upholstered in beige leather complemented by color-coordinated door panels and brown carpets. Burl wood trim accents the dashboard and door panels and additional amenities include a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a locking glovebox, twin ashtrays, and crank windows. Aftermarket speakers are installed on the rear bulkhead.
The four-spoke steering wheel features a Jaguar horn button and fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer and a reverse-sweep 6k-rpm tachometer with an inset analog clock as well as auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 65k miles.
The 3.4-liter inline-six was factory rated at 210 horsepower and features a C-Type cylinder head, dual SU carburetors, and a. 6-volt electrical system. The engine cranks but no longer starts. The seller states that the fuel tank requires replacement.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
The vehicle does not have a title and is being sold in Ontario on its Manitoba registration, which serves as the ownership document in Manitoba, Canada. The majority of the photos were taken in 2023.
