Current bid $31,100 reserve not met, 4 bids, 4 days left in auction. Car now said to be located in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Sellers description:
Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present for sale this strikingly beautiful Jaguar XK120 Fixed Head Coupe. This example has been treated to a full 'nut and bolt' restoration with very few miles since completion. This car is truly ready to show. The red paint is very nicely done and the contrasting light tan interior shows extremely well. It is equipped with goodies from the SE package including dual exhausts, dual driving lights and spoke wheels. The paint is a deeper richer red than the photos show and is absolutely beautiful. The gaps are well above average. We have the original Jaguar Operating, Maintenance & Service Handbook and a service manual with a supplement packet. The 4 Firestone tires are in great shape with plenty of tread left. The tires are period correct looking and don't have any signs of drying or cracking. All of the chrome is great with no signs of pitting or rust. The body is completely rust free top to bottom and the rubber seals have been replaced. All of the wood in the interior is in superb condition. The wheels are true and straight with no wobble or vibration at speed. The 3.4 liter straight 6 cylinder runs strong & healthy. The engine bay and engine are as clean as the rest of the car. The trunk compartment is lined with tan vinyl that matches the interior. This is a numbers matching car that is ready to enjoy and appreciate in value. The fit and finish is impressive. These XK120’s were phenomenal performers for the day, with the name of the car coming from the 120mph top speed that could be obtained. We have all the books and the owner’s manuals for this car. If you have been considering an XK120 Coupe, this one should be seriously considered.

Current bid $11,211 reserve not met, 3 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in San Luis Obispo, California. It would appear that the car didn't sell at the above auction as no result is listed.
Sellers description:
Very nice XK120 FHC. These are very rare cars that we do not get through our doors very often. These coupes are said to be the most beautiful Jaguar ever produced. This particular car is a very solid rust-free matching numbers example that has been subject to a full restoration. The paint and body is excellent and the doors open and close just like they should with no sag and great gaps. The engine starts up right away and sounds great. The transmission shifts just like it should. The leather interior is all new and very nice. The wood dash is all refinished and looks great.

This machine is on the auction block once again, this time on BaT. Have a look there. Has an Heritage Certificate ever been obtained on this car? A question of authenticity: Was the exhaust system w/two header pipes through a lengthy dual entry/exit muffler and twin tail pipes provided on the XK-120 SE model in both the OTS and FHC????

This 1954 Jaguar XK120 fixed-head coupe is a left-hand-drive Special Equipment model that is said to have been first sold in California and remained in the state until it was acquired by the seller and imported to Canada in 2001. The car is finished in red over tan leather upholstery, and power comes from a 3.4L twin-cam inline-six paired with a Moss four-speed non-synchronized manual transmission. Equipment includes driving lamps, 16″ chrome knock-off wire wheels, a burl-wood dash panel, dual SU carburetors, and an alternator. The speedometer was rebuilt and fitted with a new cable in 2021. This XK120 SE coupe is now offered in Ontario, Canada, with a factory service manual, a tool roll, a 1954 California license plate, and a transferable Ontario registration in the seller’s name.
The car is said to have been repainted in red under previous ownership and fitted with new body seals. Features include driving lamps, split front bumpers, chrome rear bumperettes, and a dual-exit exhaust.
The 16″ chrome wire wheels feature two-eared knock-off hubs and are mounted with Firestone Cavallino radial tires. A matching spare wheel with an older bias-ply tire is fitted in the storage area beneath the trunk floor. Braking is handled by hydraulic drums at all four corners.
The cabin features a split bench seat trimmed in tan leather with matching door panels and lighter carpets fitted under black rubber floor mats. A burl wood dash panel and door caps are fitted. The clock does not work.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a central instrument panel housing a Smiths 140-mph speedometer, a reverse-sweep tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, amperage, and fuel level. The speedometer was reportedly rebuilt in 2021 and reinstalled with a new speedometer cable. The five-digit odometer was reset at the time of the speedometer rebuild and shows less than 10 miles. Approximately 1,500 miles have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 3.4L twin-cam inline-six features dual SU carburetors and was factory rated at 180 horsepower in SE trim, which added higher-lift camshafts and a lightened flywheel. An alternator is fitted in place of the factory generator.
Cylinder head stamping F1918–8S matches the chassis tag along with a matching engine block stamp.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a Moss four-speed non-synchronized manual transmission. Factory components that featured asbestos were replaced with non-carcinogenic materials according to the seller.
A factory service manual, tool roll, and a 1954 California license plate are included
