Ebay item 6/13/07
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
Current bid $6,300, no reserve, 8 bids, 6 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
1954 Jaguar XK120 Fixed Head Coupe. I had been led to believe this was a XK120SMC, but I understand that is not a correct designation, I do not want to misrepresent the car, so it is the model with wire wheels, bumper mounted auxilary lamps and the red cylinder head which allegedly increases the output from 160 to 190 hp. I can not substantiate that, but the cylinder head is definitely painted red! The package includes windshield washers, there is no sign of them, except for two neat little holes in the cowl for washers. It also has the suction cup de-icer., I bought the car in 1979, and it has been in my garage untouched since then. It is ready to get back into circulation. As the pictures show, it has body rust which has been repaired to various degrees. There is a good amount of rust on the doglegs and floor, but the frame is OK. The car probably needs a total restoration. The hood, doors, front fenders are straight, not so the boot and passenger side rear fender. The separate drivers side rear fender is straight. I have the spare wire wheel. The car is complete, except for the windshield and hood badge, no jack or tool roll. Originally, I was planning on redoing this car, but I ended up working on other less exotic projects. TITLE INFO--I have registrations from previous owners. NY does not title vehicles older than 1973. Please understand your home state requirements, usually a NYSDOT MV-51 is adequate.

cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1954-Jaguar-XK-120-FHC-/180774956276
Current bid $10,000, no reserve, 2 bids 4 days left in auction. 89k miles.
Sellers description:
I bought this car in 2007 to restore and add to my collection of Jaguars. It has been in storage since I purchased it. The previous owner bought the car in 1979 to restore. It sat in his garage until I purchased it. The previous owner thought the car was a XK 120SMC. I have been unable to confirm whether this is accurate or not.. As the pictures show, the car has body rust, especially on the doglegs/ A post areas, but the frame is OK. The car needs a total restoration. According to the previous owner, the car is complete, except for the windshield washers, front badge, jack and tool roll.
