this car has had a few body modifications done in the late 50's.
Frenched in tail lamps and #plate,
rear wings blended in to the body, front wing air vents removed, fuel filler relocated inside the boot with a Le Mans filler. All abrupt body angles blended at roof line to body,an under boot and rear wing panel fabricated with center exit exhaust, all door sill and jabs covered in polished stainless.
Air conditioning, cruise control, 5 speed gearbox , front disc brakes and an alloy radiator with an aux. electric fan. Six speaker stereo cd player, Smith's oil check, and a added storage area added in the rear of the parcal tray.
The car is driven on a regular basis (weather permitting) and goes to be shown at area Jaguar shows and dealer heritage displays.

Just beautiful. Would love to see more photos of the body modifications. I have an 120SE OTS (heavily mechanically modified) and thinking about a FHC as my next project.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
