Ebay item 6/14/13 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1954-Jaguar-XK120SE-Drophead-Coupe-DHC-120-SE-Special-Eq ...
Car has a buy it now price of $45,000 for 20 days.
Sellers description:
According to the tag on the cowl, this XK 120SE was originally delivered new to France. Left-hand drive (LHD) Finished in Jaguar's "Pastel Blue" paint and trimmed with what looks to be light blue leather. We don't believe the black canvas soft top is original. The Drophead Coupé (DHC) had a padded, lined canvas top, which folded onto the rear deck behind the seats when retracted, and roll-up windows with opening quarter lights. The flat glass two-piece windscreen was set in a steel frame that was integrated with the body and painted the same color. The dashboards and door-caps in both the DHC and the closed coupé (FHC) were wood-veneered, whereas the more spartan roadster's were leather-trimmed.
Being this is a "Special Equipment" model XK120, (Noted by the "S" prefix in the Chassis Number.) the vehicle came with upgrades like increased power, stiffer suspension, dual exhaust system and wire wheels.
With a few new items installed like a fuel tank, master cylinder, muffler, radiator and some igntion parts, the vehicle is now running and driving. It is being sold with its "Heritage Certificate" from Jaguar.
The Chassis No. S678145. According to the information tag, the Engine No. is F 2061-88 (Was unable to see this number on the engine. Not sure where to look. we can only assume it is still the correct matching number engine.)
