AXLE RATIO 46/13
RARE 1954 Jaquar XK 120M matching number car! This is a one-owner car bought in Buffalo, NY. This was part of a two-car collection that I purchased last month. I am keeping one of the cars and selling this one. Car runs excellent. Has new exhaust and gas tank. Tires (6.00-16 Firestone) are in excellent shape.
This car is 98% original. Exhaust, gas tank, and tires have been replaced. Everything else, such as the top, tonneau cover, side curtains, glass, engine transmission, rear end ARE ORIGINAL! The car has had a repaint, that on a scale of 1 to 10, is a 5. Frame and floors are in excellent condition. The car had extensive brake work done in 2005: New brake hoses and wheel cylinder kits.
This car would be an excellent candidate for restoration or drive "as is".
What it needs: Brakes bled and shoes adjusted; missing are: tool kit and grease gun; and would need a top
All NEW spare parts are going with car. Includes: Wind screen pillars, alloyed taillights, mirrors, Also an array of miscellanous used part.

Car to return to auction 4/12

Auction description:
Lot 128 - 1954 Jaguar XK120 SE Roadster
Estimate: £39,000 - £45,000
Registration Number: 451YUF
Chassis Number: S675382
Offered for sale today is a desirable left hand drive Jaguar XK120. 451 YUF was dispatched from Jaguar Cars on 13th April 1954 to Hoffman in New York, where it remained until it was returned to the UK in 2011. Since returning to the UK 451 YUF has been used by its owner sparingly - the occasional trip to Goodwood for a breakfast meet, and other club events.
The engine is described as incredibly smooth, and bodily the car remains incredibly close to original form, finished in arguably the best colour for a '120' - Old English White. The beautifully aged patina of the stunning red interior is, quite simply, irreplaceable. 451 YUF is supplied with a V5 Registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 28th August 2012, together with the all-important Jaguar Heritage certificate.
This is a fine opportunity to acquire a car which played a great part in creating the legend that has become Jaguar Cars; a perfect car for continental touring - to be used and enjoyed.

Lot 256 - 1954 Jaguar XK120 SE Roadster
Registration 451YUF
Chassis Number S.675382
Engine Number F-2757-8S
Odometer reading 54,960 miles
Estimate £95,000 - £110,000
This Jaguar XK120SE was dispatched from Jaguar Cars on 13th April 1953 to Hoffmans in New York. In 2011, the car was brought back to the UK and registered with the DVLA; a V5C registration document and current MoT test certificate are supplied in the history file. Although quite a sound and original example when she arrived here, the vendor has undertaken a total 'body off' restoration project as well as a number of significant improvements. The engine has been fully rebuilt by marque specialist Guy Broad and a five-speed gearbox has been fitted along with a power lock rear axle. The brakes have been uprated to disc brakes all-round, new shock absorbers fitted and the suspension has been polybushed. An aluminium fuel tank has been fitted as has an aluminium radiator. During the restoration she was converted to righthand drive, at the same time an extended pedal box was fitted making this a car that a six foot plus pilot can drive comfortably. Finished in silver with red parchment interior and sitting proudly on wire wheels, this XK120 is a splendid example.
