This, matching numbers, Jaguar XK120SE OTC has been off the road in the USA since 1978. It was stored under a cover for 43 years, which resulted in a totally coroded body except for the aluminium parts such as engine hood and doors.
It was repatriated to the Netherlands in 2021 and body-off restored to original state by Classic Resotarion Services, Vreeland in the next year and a half. All invoices, worksheets and photos of the restoration process are available. The restoration work and painting was executed to the highest quality standard. The engine revision, including new bearings, valves and crankchaft balancing, was exectued by MRA in Apeldoorn which resulted in a very smooth running engine, starting at the first press of the startbutton.
This XK is a rare, original Special Equipment (SE) version, which among other things means that it is equiped with a C-Type cylinderhead, the same as was used in the winning 24hLeMans C-types. It increases the perfomance from 160 to 210bhp (207HP/154Kw) and can be recognised by the S at the end of the enginenumber and the prefix of the chassinumber.
The car is equiped with an EZ-electrical powersteering which ensures a very smooth driving experience and original leather bucket seats.
The XK was a prize winner on the concours d’elegance at the Zandvoort racing circuit in May 2023 and participated in de concours d'elegance in the Netherlands in 2024
This XK is matching numbers and the Jaguar heritage certificate is available.

"XK 120, just beautiful, sexy, covetous, swoopy." – Richard Hammond
The Jaguar XK120 SE (Special Equipment) – the sporty big brother, the cool kid in class, the one you wanted to hang out with during gym. Thanks to increased power (180 hp instead of 160 hp), a higher compression ratio, sportier camshafts, and a dual exhaust, the SE was quicker and more aggressive than its standard sibling. Add a stiffer suspension, thicker torsion bars, lightweight wire wheels, and integrated fog lights, and you've got yourself a proper classic Jaguar party. Just a Proper JAGGG!
Cool Classic Club proudly offers a superbly restored XK120 SE. In 2021, this Jaguar underwent a full body-off nut & bolt restoration, with every detail carefully brought back to its original glory. Importantly, the car has retained its original matching numbers.
