OFFERED WITHOUT RESERVE
This left-hand drive 1954 Jaguar XK120 SE is a wonderful example presented in near-concours condition that continues to benefit from a meticulous, frame-off, nut and bolt restoration with every system either new or rebuilt to original specification. A former AACA National First Prize award-winner, the Jaguar’s svelte bodylines are complemented by a Lavender Grey exterior finish, as well as Claret Red Connolly leather upholstery, red Wilton wool carpeting, Firestone wide whitewall tires and 60-spoke chrome wire wheels. In addition, weather gear includes a black cloth top and matching side curtains, as well as a black tonneau cover with smart red piping. An extensive list of genuine parts were sourced from England including the leather hood strap, original Lucas PF770 headlights, New Old Stock Lucas P700 driving lights and dual wing-mounted rear-view mirrors. The Jaguar comes complete with all original tools, original hand pump, a jack and a grease gun.
A matching numbers example of the fastest and most desirable XK120 model offered in 1954, with rakish roadster bodywork, this very fine example could form the core of any noteworthy collection of Jaguars. Best of all, while it shows barely 1,000 miles since restoration, it is thoroughly sorted and drives like new today.
