Hi
The car was inherited by his son whom took it to Tasmania and sold to myself.
It is registered on SI plates and used regularly. A beautiful and powerful car running a modified 4.2 litre. He had restored it before he died. I still have the pair of wooden doors he raced it with to keep down the weight until they were discovered by the scrutineers.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
