Ebay item 4/20/07
shape. It has the original wire wheels. I have many original interior parts that of course need restoration but will go with the vehicle.
As a side note I have a complete Brand New Tan Leather Interior and carpet that I purchased for the Jaguar, one seat has been recovered. I will sell the Interior separately or with the car.
This vehicle is being sold as is,No Title.

Current bid US $10,100 reserve not met 13 bids 6 days left in auction. Seller hoopester44, car now said to be in Bakersfield, California 48k miles.
Sellers description:
1956 Jaguar XK140 FHC
The story as told to me by the gentleman that had the vehicle for several years. He had bought the car from a gentleman who had taken the car ("a fairly nice running and driving car") to a shop to be restored. While the vehicle was there, the shop went out of business and by the time he had recovered his vehicle, the engine, transmission, rear axle ("dummy axle" tacked in place for transport) and seats were missing. The steel in the car is excellent but as you can see from the photos, the front and rear bumper holes have been filled in (with metal) and the rear fenders were molded in. All reversible if someone wanted to back all original and considering the condition of the sheet metal, it would make great candidate for original restoration. I was actually considering updating the drive train and making a "Restomod" out of it but that seemed to rub a few Jaguar enthusiast wrong way and after seeing what the body parts go for, I can see why.
So, with all that being said, I'm looking to sell my 1956 Jaguar XK140 FHC. It has a clear title in my name and all the parts pictured, plus three boxes of parts not shown full of misc. parts.
