Ebay item 11/2/14
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XK-XK140-Jaguar-1956-XK140-Roadster-/191398105556
Current bid $1,956 reserve not met 1 bid 8 days left in auction, buy it now price $48,500.

Sellers description:
1956 XK140 Roadster, unrestored xK140's like this are getting very difficult to find. This car came equipped with fog lamps, window washers and the dual exhaust. We believe it also came through with a heater. The chassis number of the car is A811763, the engine number is G7331-8 AND the block and the head match, the body number is P1182 and the gearbox number is SH542A. Unfortunately I do not have a Jaguar Heritage Certificate for the car. The car is missing the soft top frame and the bottom part of the seats. There are new sills on the car and all the instruments and gauges are in the car, the frame and body are in fairly decent shape making it an excellent candidate for restoration. The car steers and rolls so it can be transported easily. We have a clear title for the car.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
