Car offered at:
hilltopjags.com/jaguar-xks
Seller's description:
Hilltop Auto stock #319 is this 1955 XK140SE special equipment roadster rolling chassis with engine and gearbox, which comes with a clear title. The frame is very solid and is not rusted out. The Jaguar Heritage Certificate states the car was built on the 5th of January 1955, was originally Cream with a red interior and a Fawn soft top. The engine, the chassis and gearbox match the Heritage Certificate. About 30 years ago the body was removed and was installed on a Volkswagen, with no further information. What you see is what you get. There are companies in Europe who are manufacturing bodies for Jaguar XKs if a donor is not available.
