I am the present owner of this XK150DHC which is now BRG with biscuit leather interior. The present engine number is F90278 which suggests the original engine was removed probably in America and replaced with a late XK120 engine with a 8;1 compression ratio
The present gearbox is a 5 speed but the original would have had a Laycock de Normanville overdrive fitted.
The original engine was V72489 which suggests a C type head with a 9:compression
