Ebay item 5/19/08 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK150-1959-JAGUAR-XK150-DHC-FULLY-RESTORED_W0QQit ...
Current bid $60,100, no reserve, 3 bids, 5 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
Fully restored 1959 Jaguar XK150 Drop Head Coupe (convertible). The exterior color is an original Jaguar color called Claret, which is similar to burgundy or maroon. The interior color is called biscuit and it has leather seats front and rear. The interior was done by BAS Ltd. who also supplied a Robbins convertible top, which is a color called Sand. The restoration was completed in 1999 and it has been driven less than 1000 miles since then. It has the standard 3.4 liter Jaguar 6 cylinder engine with dual overhead cams and dual SU carburetors. This was an Arizona car which came to Ohio just the year before I bought it so the body was in excellent condition and needed very little body work. The body work that was necessary and the painting was done by Shade Tree Motorcars in Akron, OH. I had a modern 5-speed Borg Warner JT5 transmission installed in 2004 by North Coast Exotics shop, which greatly improves the driveability of the car. The transmission and all necessary ancillary hardware was included in a kit supplied by XK's Unlimited. The car has 4-wheel disk brakes and the calipers have been sleeved by White Post Restorations with stainless steel sleeves, which eliminates pitting of the calipers. The cylinder head was redone in 2007 with all new intake valves installed and all the valves were shimmed to the proper specs. This work was also done by North Coast Exotics, Cleveland, OH. This is a beautiful car that is ready for show or go.

My father purchased this car 3/15/1961, but I don't know if he was the original owner, probably not. I have a picture of him standing beside it. When he had it, it was white with red interior and a black convertible top. I think he sold it in 1963. All I have s an "Ownership Tax Receipt."
