Finished in red with tan leather / leatherette upholstery, this particular left-hand drive Jaguar XK150 Fixed Head Coupe is variously described by the vendor as being in "good" (3.8 litre engine, four-speed manual gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim), "very good" (wheels / tyres) or "excellent" (chassis, bodywork, paintwork) condition. Said to have been bought in Mexico during 1987, it is understood to have been "rebuilt from the chassis up" with a "new interior" in 1990 and a "rebuilt engine" (including new sleeves and 9:1 pistons). Reportedly upgraded from a 3.4 litre unit to a 3.8 litre one "sometime before purchase", 'SFF 302' has further benefited from a bare metal repaint "this last six months". Riding on chrome wire wheels, it is offered for sale with MOT certificate valid until May 17th 2007.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
