This Jaguar has been stored for approx. 30 years in a garage in St. Petersburg, Florida by most probably its first owner.

After he died in 2006, his step-daugther and her sons weren't interested and decided to sell it. A local MG-dealer was given the provision to sell this Jag. The dealer found me via my classified for an unrestored XK140DHC on JCNA.
It is now being restored, which will take a few years.

It is almost a matching car: the original gearbox (JL34954CR) was replaced by another. So if you know the whereabouts of this gearbox, please let me know!

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
