Here we have a Lefthand drive XK 140 DHC in maroon red with a matching Biscuit interior.
It has a Manual Overdrive Gearbox, dual exhaust, optional driving lamps and Chrome Wire Wheels with Whitewall Tires. It is a "Matching numbers" car and it comes with a Heritage Certificate.
This car was sold new in USA 30th March 1955 to a Mr George Sladovich, Baton Rouge, Lousiana
In the late nineties it was imported to Belgium by wellknown restorer Classic Motor Action in Antwerpen - www.classicmotoraction.com/en/About_us/
They made a full body off restoration of the car who was very solid with good panel fit leaving most of the original bodypanels. They gave the car a full respray in Maroon Red and a new Biscuit interior and a new Biscuit Hood. It was then sold to Sweden where it now has its second Swedish Owner since 2007.
It has since 2007 been nicely upgraded and it is a Concours Winner with several Concours Awards.
