The stunning 1956 Jaguar XK140 Fixed Head Coupe featured here is finished in the highly sought after, factory correct color combination of all Black over a Grey leather interior. According to the accompanying Jaguar Heritage Certificate this particular example was completed at the Coventry works on October 28th 1955 and was originally distributed through Jaguar Cars of New York. More recently the XK140 has been subjected to a meticulous restoration with incredible attention to detail. The XK DOHC inline-6 cylinder performs wonderfully, while upgraded front disc brakes have been fitted from a later model Jaguar. The XK140 is offered with a Nardi wood rimmed steering wheel, but it still accompanied by the original style Jaguar piece should the future caretaker decide to retain the stock specification. A recent service has been performed and this XK140 is not exceptionally well sorted and would be an ideal candidate for a vintage rally or tour. We are proud to offer this stunning 1956 Jaguar XK140 Fixed Head Coupe to the most particular collector, investor or enthusiast who appreciates the blend of style and performance that can only be found in these brilliant XK Jaguars.
