1955 Jaguar XK 140 Coupe
Very good car for restoration. Rare original overdrive car in very solid condition. Serial # 814710DN. The car was stripped for a repaint in the early 1970's and parked in a dry garage.

The extent of the rust is in the dog legs on the rear fenders and the bolt-in battery boxes. The sills and trunk floor are very good, and the parking light housings are solid. The doors are nice and straight as well. The body damage in front is body only, and the frame is straight and solid.

The block and transmission have numbers matching, while the head is a correct series with non-matching numbers. The interior is original and surprisingly good for the age of the car. All glass is original and nice, with the exception of the right windshield, which is missing. (That is flat glass, easy to replace.) All the missing trim is in the trunk.

The car was originally black.
