This 1956 Jaguar XK140 Is a beautiful car, with its original 3.4 litre 6 cylinder Dual Overhead Cam engine, and upgraded Tremec 5 speed modern transmission, (Original matching numbers transmission included with the car). It’s beautifully finished in metallic blue, with dark blue leather seats and trim. The numbers match the data plate, and the Jaguar Daimler Heritage trust document confirms this is a matching numbers car! (Note the “type C” cam covers look great, but it’s not a “type C” engine.)

The engine was rebuilt about 20 years ago, and was very lightly used. We were unsatisfied with the ring sealing, so we sent the car to a Jaguar marque specialist to install new rings and do some other recommissioning to put the car back on the road, with excellent results. Front disc brakes are a nice upgrade, and it has chrome wire wheels & Michelin X with knock off hubs!

The interior is beautifully finished in dark blue leather with a beautiful dashboard, steering wheel and instruments.

It’s a lovely car, in excellent restored condition with desirable upgrades, ready for your driving adventure!
