This XK140 has recently been fully restored with many upgrades.here at Twyford Moors. It is very rare such a car comes onto the market and it is in exceptional condition. The car was restored to order for well know XK collector Tony Hall and the restoration was followed extensively in the XK Gazette giving a remarkably detailed record of the restoration.
Many upgrades have been fitted to this XK140 drophead coupé including five speed gearbox, electronic power steering, alternator, electric cooling fan, electronic ignition, hidden radio, front disc brakes and inertia seatbelts. The engine has been built to a fast road specification and the suspension benefits from polyurethane bushes and adjustable shock absorbers.
This Jaguar is in top condition and has been built to be used and driven. It would be ideal for long distance touring being both comfortable and delivering a high level or performance.
