FOR SALE OR PART-EXCHANGE
I am the proud owner of #804094, which I would like to sale or trade in part-exchange for a XK140DHC.
My car has matching numbers.
Chassis number reads #804094 - one of the earliest 140 FHC listed on this site.
Previous British registration was HJD 500; the car is said to be the first 140 coupé to have been registered in Wales. I have nearly all of the documents showing her history; she has been, but the engine, restored by previous British owner between 1990 and 2002.
I have since thoroughly rebuilt and modified the engine as follows :
- Engine block acid-cleaned
- Engine rebuilt using new or VGC second-hand parts throughout
- Crankshaft balanced and nitrite surface hardened
- Engine block re-sleeved and new pistons of original size fitted
- Connecting rods and pistons statically and dynamically balanced
- Uprated oil pump fitted
- New water pump
- Distributor chains and tensioner replaced
- 'A' type cylinder head modified with large diameter valves
- Admission ports enlarged and polished (gas-flowed)
- 'D' type camshafts fitted
- Combustion chambers polished
- 2" SU8 carbs with FACET electric fuel pump and FILTER KING filter
- Electronic ignition
- Alternator
- SPAL Electric fan
- 2" dual stainless steel exhaust system (the new sound is just great!)
- New clutch
- MOSS gearbox in VGC
- KONI shock absorbers
- Front disc brakes conversion
- Painted wire wheels (three new rims)
- Two new tyres (VREDESTEIN) on rear, front tyres VGC
- Bonnet modified with cooling louvres (reduces engine temperature by 8-10°C)
- Cold-air duct to front brakes (openings on either side of radiator grille)
- LUCAS 7" fog lights
- Interior in Bordeaux leather excellent condition and woodwork revarnished.
Body and paintwork in excellent condition, rare colour which sets off the car well and received favourable comments at 'XK60' at Goodwood in 2008.
Since the engine has been rebuild, the car has covered 7,800 miles.

Hi
We met briefly at Goodwood last sunday. I am interested in your car but your email address keeps bouncing back. If you could pls get in touch so we can talk about the Jag I'd be grateful.
Thanks
