Purchased in 1999 from original owner who drove it off the dealer's lot in Glendale, CA in 1954, Angelo J. Leo. Continuous CA black-plate registration down to present. I have original 1956 title and registration, and various registrations up to 1999 when Mr. Leo had a stroke and his faamily sold the car. Car is entirely original except for new wiring harness, refinished interior wood, electronic distributor and a few other minor items. Original parts replaced, like distributor, still with car. Car was trucked back to Michigan in 2000, and kept in heated, dehumidified garage since then.

Completely original FHC bought from original owner, Angelo Leo Jr., in 2000. Mr. Leo drove the car off the lot in Glendale, CA in 1955 (I was told it was a demonstrator), and was the sole owner until 2000. I have several registration documents dating to 1956. Mr. Leo did much of the maintenance, and the original tools and shop manual are with the car. Continuous California black plate license, 1954-2006.

Ebay item 11/22/08 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-XK120-FHC-Fixed-Head-Coupe-in-excellent-running-c ...
Current bid $16,100 reserve not met, 4 bids, 9 days left in auction. Car now said to be located in Muncie, Indiana.
Sellers description:
Muncie Imports Auto Outlet offers this 1954 XK120, fixed head coupe up for auction. This is a numbers matching, 2 owner, from California. XKs Unlimited in San Luis Obispo did a considerable amount of work to this car in 2000. Some of the work they did included a new fuel line, the gas tank lined, plus many other small items and general tune-up.
It has been in a heated and dehumidified garage ever since, with very modest driving. In the summer of 2006, it was taken to Guild Automotive Restorers in Bradford near Toronto, where the interior wood was refinished, a new wiring harness installed, plus renewed braking system, rebuilt carburetors, new front-end shocks (Konis), electronic ignition, and many other small items—a total of about $34,000. We have the original coil, distributor, and any other renewed items with exception of the front shocks. We have records of everything that has been done to the car since 2000.
In 2008 Muncie Imports and Classics did the following work. We rebuilt the idler arm, installed the correct square body fuel pump and fittings, a new otter switch, and overhauled the cooling system. We also set the front end to the correct height and alignment. The carburators were dialed in correctly and we replaced the spark plugs.
The car has new OSJI (Original Specification Jaguar Interior) leather seats and armrest manufactured and professionally installed by Muncie Imports and Classics in Muncie, IN.
The odometer shows 2152 miles, however it is broken.
We have a reproduction of the handbook, an original shop manual, and a reproduction of the shop manual. Also included is the original tool kit. We also have a Heritage Certificate that confirms original colors, engine number, body number and gear box. The chassis number is 681345.
This car has been repainted apparently by the first owner. The paint is average at best, however the car shows no signs of rust and the floor boards and undercarriage are in good condition.
The drivetrain has a slight vibration at lower rpms. Could be flywheel and/or clutch pressure plate slightly out of balance.

1954 JAGUAR XK120 FIXED-HEAD COUPE
Finished in classic and color code correct Birch Grey Metallic with beautiful new, correct Red Connelly leather interior. This exquisite motorcar is just 2 owners from new. It was delivered on January 25, 1954 to its original owner in Glendale, CA and remained there until 2000 when a second owner purchased the car and later restored it. This magnificent motorcar, in my opinion, is, without question, among one of the most finely designed sports cars of all time. This is an opportunity to acquire an original California car in spectacular condition at an amazing price. I personally believe the investment potential of this great British classic will grow far beyond your imagination. Original California black plates still remain on the car, making this a tremendous find. Offered to the most astute collector, investor and enthusiast who demands the best.
