    Auction description:
Lot 083: 1953 JAGUAR XK120 FIXED HEAD COUPE
Van Dijk Collection, H&H Classic Auctions Ltd (3rd October 2005)
    Overview
Finished in silver with grey leather upholstery, this particular example began life overseas. Subsequently re-imported and re-registered, it is said to have undergone a "full ground up photographic restoration". Described by the vendor as having "no major faults", it is to right-hand drive, four-speed manual specification. Believed but not warranted to have covered 76,496 miles from new, its W- engine prefix indicates that it was manufactured prior to November 1953. Riding on correct-type steel wheels, it is offered for sale with MOT certificate valid until 20th March 2006 and history file documenting the rebuild.
