Ebay item 4/19/07 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-Fixed-Head-Coupe-1953-Jaguar-XK-120-Coupe_W0QQite ...
Opening bid $10,500, no reserve, no bids yet, 9 days left in auction.
Sellers description:
THIS CAR IS BEING SOLD WITH NO RESERVE
Here is a rare opportunity to acquire a 1953 Jaguar XK120 fixed head Coupe in excellent partly restored condition. Most of the hard work has already been completed.
The body has been sandblasted and primed and is in very sound condition. The chassis has been sandblasted and powder coated. The brakes have new back plates and the front has new shock absorbers. There is one new rear shock absorber and the brake master cylinder has been sleeved with a brass liner.
There is a complete new wiring harness and many of the cars parts (brackets etc.) have been plated.
The car looks to be sitting low at the front due to the fact that the front torsion bars need adjusting.
The bonnet and boot (hood and trunk) are both in very good condition. The bonnet being stripped to bare aluminum. Both doors are also in great shape with good timber frames.
The car comes complete with its original engine which has been stripped for inspection. There is also a complete spare engine included with the car. The car looks to be all there and very restorable and has a clear State of Oklahoma title.
