Sellers description:
1952 Jaguar XK120 Coupe
Has been in storage in Climate garage in Dallas Texas since 1972, Yes 37 years. California 1963 block plates. Solid/straight very close to rust free body and chassis excellent panel gaps. Engine and transmission swap done in early 1970's with a 1969 Pontiac OHV 6 cyl., very professionally done. Frame not cut or hacked, firewall still intact. Nicely done has not run since 1972 and we have not tried. Engines are plentiful but bodies and chassis like this are not. 1 of only 2678 XK120 coupes ever built. Very few still exist, very few bodies like this one. Why start out with a rusty clapped out car when you can buy this solid example of the famous Jaguar XK120. Question for you Jaguar guys how many LHD North American delivered XK120 coupes were built and how many survive today? Thanks for looking please view all pictures before asking questions, we took pictures of everything including undercarriage, frame and chassis shots. We have priced it to sell.

1952 Jaguar XK120 Fixed Head Coupe
Good restorable car - VIN# 680244
This is an early skirted Jaguar XK120.
This is a very clean car. This is an excellent candidate for restoration. This car is very solid and complete. However, the original engine is missing but we have another engine and transmission of the same year, sitting in the engine bay (but not hooked up). This engine and transmission has not run in 15 or so years but if necessary, we guarantee that they are good, solid and able to be rebuilt.
As you can see, the skirts are exceptionally clean and the rest of the body is excellent with very little rust.
This car presents a good opportunity to own a beautiful Jaguar XK120 that is a solid car for a restoration depending on if you want a really nice driver or a show queen.
