    Sellers description:

The engine is believed to be a XK150 the block and head numbers match. Chassis number is 679200, body number is J1202, gearbox number is JH8182. Heritage document is pictured in this auction. What you see in the pictures is all we have. Missing one rear bumper we do have the brackets. Missing both front bumpers the brackets are on the car. It is a good solid almost complete car that is an excellent basis for a restoration or race car build. We price our cars to sell and this XK120 will have a new owner soon

Is there info available what happened to the original engine W3967-8?

Maybe sitting in a barn somewhere? Or installed into another Jag?

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
