1954 Jaguar XK120 Drop Head Coupe
This 1954 XK120 is one of only 1,750 produced between 1953 and 1954, and features the 3.4L twin overhead cam inline 6-cylinder engine linked to a 4-speed manual transmission. The dual side-draft carburetors have been rebuilt. Presented in red with a black top and interior, the walnut dashboard houses fabulous Smiths gauges, and matches the interior door caps. Chrome wire wheels are wrapped with 6x16-inch bias-ply Goodyear tires held in place by chrome knock-offs. Part of the Jim Ray collection since 2003, the Jaguar is believed to have covered only 50,000 miles since new.

The black interior is fresh and new looking. Gorgeous walnut dashboard houses Smith gauges that also matches the interior door caps.

MECHANICS
The detailed engine bay houses the strong running 3.4L twin overhead cam inline 6 cylinder. Dual side draft carburetors have been rebuilt and precision tuned. 4 speed manual transmission shifts the gears.

UNDERCARRIAGE
Very solid and intact as you would expect from a car of this caliber.

Having once been part of the Jim Ray collection, this XK 120 was comprehensively restored and is described to be in excellent condition throughout. There is a history file with the car which includes details of the Concours reports. This is certainly a very fine example of this ever collectible Jaguar and worth the most detailed inspection.
