CHASSIS NUMBER: S 677044
ENGINE NUMBER: W 8036-8S
BODY NUMBER: P 1047
GEARBOX NUMBER: JL 16197
Here for sale is one of the most beautifully restored 1954 Jaguar XK-120 Drop Head Coupes, in the distinctive color combination of Silver/blue metallic exterior, Black interior & Black soft top.
The car is a "Special Equipment" or "M" model as they were called by US dealers: with high-lift cams, stronger suspension and wire wheels. It has a 3.4 liter engine and 4-speed manual gearbox. All numbers match the original data plate and JDHT Certificate. This remarkable vehicle is one of only 1471 Left Hand Drive DHCs built during the entire production run of the XK-120, and of those, only 706 were Special Equipment models, which makes this one of the most rare XK-120s.
