Opening bid $37,500 reserve not met, no bids yet, 6 days left in auction. Buy it now price $52,500.

Sellers description:
1954 Jaguar XK 120 Roadster in Old English White with Red leather interior. California car with both Black Plates intact. 92,920 miles. Numbers match: Engine/Head # F35628, Chassis # 675976, Body # F8259. Solid wheels with Spats. In a garage in Los Angeles for 17+ years. We purchased it and just spent $6500+ on: cleaning and sealing the gas tank, full service with all new fluids & filters, new master cylinder, brake cylinders & shoes, etc. Very straight & "honest" car with excellent trunk & hood fit. The doors fit less than perfectly (but not through any accident). Solid underneath. Decent interior that was fairly new before storage is "musty". No soft top frame or side curtains. Superb engine, smoke free with good oil pressue & strong. Good clutch & transmission. Good brakes & steering. Wipers don't work. Rev counter works up to the unit but is very erratic and needs rebuild. We just don't see XK120's in this superbly original shape anymore and this will make a real "keeper" with a couple of thousand spent.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
