Auction description:

Lot Number: S680
This is a wonderful example of a two-seater 1954 Jaguar XK120 OTS. This frame-off restoration was completed 8 years ago and the car has been driven less than 1,000 miles since. The car was repainted and its driveline rebuilt in November 2009 and is in better-than-new condition. The body fit and gaps are perfect and all-correct hardware was used in the restoration. All mechanical components have been rebuilt to factory specs and the vehicle has undergone a recent mechanical survey. All glass and bright work are in excellent condition. The workmanship of this restoration is of very high quality. This car is finished in Carmine Red with black hides edged with red piping and a black canvas top with side curtains. Included are correct 16" chrome wheels and period correct tires. This XK120 still has its period correct tri-bar headlamps, capping off what is arguably one of the most beautiful and desirable of the iconic Jaguar XK series.
